RCB Set To Sign George Garton For IPL 2021: Reports
As per reports, RCB is set to sign George Garton For IPL 2021. The left-arm pacer from England will replace Kane Richardson, who has been ruled out of the tournament. The UAE-leg of the competition will happen from September 19th. RCB’s first opponents in the second phase will be KKR.

Left-handed English player, George Garton may get a chance to debut in IPL this season. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) recently announced their new team members (Dushmantha Chameera, Wanindu Hasaranga, Tim David) as they are replacing Kane Richardson, Adam Zampa, Daniel Sams, Fin Allen, and Scott Kuggeleijn for the remaining matches.
The report suggests that the Englishman’s inclusion is only pending approval from the IPL governing council. 24-year-old medium-fast bowler, George Garton recently played for Southern Brave In The Hundred Men’s Competition and has been very impressive throughout the league. In T20 Internationals, he has taken 43 wickets in 37 matches with an economy of 8.15.

George Garton is a 24-year-old left-arm pacer from England. He represented the Southern Brave, the team that won the inaugural edition of the Hundred. In fact, he was one of the most important players to help the side lift the trophy. In the finals, the player opened the bowling for his side and bowled 20 balls to give away just 27 runs. He took the wicket of David Bedingham in the final. The catch-taker was Tim David, incidentally another new RCB signing.
